During May and June, our team will reach out to the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus as well as train and prepare for our ministry in July. In July, we will serve the communities of Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Austin. In Ann Arbor, we will help run Excel Academy, which ministers to international children and families, and continue to outreach to our campus. In Detroit, we will partner with the Detroit LIFE group to reach out to Wayne State University and the surrounding community and also serve high school students in Cesar Chavez Academy which is located in Southwest Detroit through Fusion, a summer enrichment program. In Austin, we will serve the city with our sister church through various partnerships and initiatives that they have started.
That He who began a good work in us would continue to transform our lives with His power, truth, and love
That we would have unity and partnership in the Gospel as we serve with one another and HMCC of Austin
That our love would abound more and more with personal knowledge of God and His love for people
That this missions project will serve to advance the gospel throughout Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Austin

We will be uniting with the CSMP team in Ann Arbor to serve the communities of our respective cities together. In Ann Arbor, we'll teach English and introduce the gospel to the children of international families and love the college students on the University of Michigan campus. In Detroit we'll be overseeing the Fusion Enrichment program at Cesar Chavez Academy and reaching Wayne State University with the LIFE group there. Lastly, we'll be able to serve in our very own city of Austin, continuing to build relationships in East Austin and strengthening the missional initiatives our local church has been involved in.

HMCC of Ann Arbor will be sending a team of students and working adults to Jakarta, Indonesia. Together, with a team from HMCC of Jakarta, we will be reaching out to the local communities in the areas of Banten and Sulawesi, where the church in Jakarta has already been investing and building relationships. We will be reaching out through various games, skits and activities in order to get to know the people within these communities. Our hope is to continue building these relationships as we share our lives with these people. Through our time we want to be able to listen, learn and love them as well as seek opportunities to share the gospel.

We'll be partnering with the HMCC of Ann Arbor missions team to serve in the current pioneering work of seeking out persons of peace among unreached, unengaged people groups in two regions of Indonesia. Currently, in these distinct people groups that have their own languages and cultures, there is few or no indigenous Christians. These people groups also have little or no active missions work among them. We hope to encounter people who are open to spiritual conversation and learning about Jesus Christ.
Unified love and focus as a team and with local partners in Sulawes
God's power, protection, and provision as we share the Gospel
Personal experiences for our team to internalize God's Kingdom vision
Hearts like good soil to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
