Wow. Has it really been a year since the first !gnite conference? Crazy to see how much God has worked in my life since that time. One thing I remember learning from !gnite is just how God’s heart is for the people that do not know him on campus(University of Texas). I was able to get plugged into HMCC in the last semester of my senior year. During that semester, I was able to experience God’s love through lifegroup. As the semester came to a close, I was unsure of whether I would be able to stay in Austin. I was able to grow so much and be challenged by other followers of Christ in that semester. At !gnite, I was able to reflect and learn that what I experienced in that semester is meant for everyone on our campus. I came back from !gnite with a greater passion to serve and reach out to returning students and incoming freshmen. It was great to see all the new members grow in a deeper relationship with Him, and even greater to see some accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
For this upcoming !gnite I’m exited for coming together as a body of Christ from all our different HMCC sites to worship Him and seeking the things on His heart.
